I had a new massive hard drive and motherboard installed in my computer and lost my old forum password.  I guess I don't need it anymore.  Out with the old and in with the new.  It'll be like learning to drive a stick shift, but even as hard as it was to learn, you learned.

Blues on Blues Biz.

Doin' great Jon.  I'm not playing often but when I do the nights are always hot.  My new band is called Tantrum.  I miss the blues but this rock band is hot and is on a good course.  Right now we're feeling our way just around the Ellwood area as 4 of us are from EC.  You may know Bern from Alison Park.  He's our bassman.  Maybe we'll start to branch out in a year or so and head south to the Burgh.  For now we are a working band working on replacing our moldy oldies with new covers.  I'm doing some of the best playing of my life right now jammin' my tits off but I always think like that.  Check out my latest song “Caught In Traffic With Some Big Band Funk” posted on my Jazz network site.

Hey Blues Biz!

Thanks Jim for the call.  You are a master organizer.  Music is you and you are music.  The blues in the Burgh lives on because of you.  Keep on Bluesin' on my Blues Biz old friend.

Blues on Jim!

A little note on another old friend.  I had a D string winding break.  It must have been 15 years old.  Just kidding.  Maybe only 10.  I unpacked my strat and yes, it was like seeing an old friend.  I forgot how I loved to make one note on one string have so many different tones that I couldn't get off it.  The strat is a remarkably creative instrument for any style of music but to me, it lives and breathes the blues.

Sorry Jon.  Had to work.  Conneaut is about an hour north from me.  Stay in touch John.  I'll hear you sing “The Murderin' Blues” again someday.  My favorite song of yours.
