Derek Toa

Hold on to your seat this is going to be a wild ride!

Derek Toa is the latest, next generation "Lightning Boy" to launch from the Pittsburgh area.

Eric uses the training imparted to him by local jazz and blues masters like Tony Janflone Sr. and Craig King. He blends that knowledge with his own chops and inspiration from artists such as; Eddy Van Halen, SRV and Hendrix.  Read the rest of this entry »

Craig King and Zach Tyler

Craig (on the right) is currently working with The Mystic Knights and fronts the band "King’s Ransom. From Soul to Blues to Classic Rock; Craig does it all. Craig has a very "Benson like" voice and Scat Technique mixed with a tasteful blend Hendrix style riffs. There are players out touring the country who would kill to have half of this guy’s talent!!! Note to Scouts: If you can’t see and hear what this cat is putting down, a career change may be in your best interest.

Zach (on left) fronts the band BluRazor. Vocally, he’s a blues belter with a southern rock flair. His guitar style swings from soulful slowhand to lightning fast technical chops. His band "BluRazor" is a tight powerhouse of talent, vocally and instrumentally.  Note to Scouts. With the right promotion, production and direction this band could make someone some "serious coin."

Danny Gochnour

Danny plays with Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers. He has logged many hours as part of Moe Black’s Magic w/ Andrea Pearl.

His style seems influenced by players like Eric Johnson, Carlos Santana and Larry Carlton. It’s hard to put a finger on all of his influences, because he is at home in all styles and modes. This is one player who definitely steps out of the box, but always stays in the pocket!

Summary: Top Notch Guitarist. Perfect for live or session work.

Ray Morrison and Bryan Cole

Ray Morrison (left) is Lead Singer for Soul Village. Ray’s tonal qualities are similar to Seal and Lenny Kravitz.  On stage, Ray is an energetic performer who is at home in many different styles of music. Ray takes his soulful "Seal like" appeal and blends it with sounds from Reggae, Funk, Mo town and traditional Rock Classics.

Note to the Scouts; Ray is a marketable talent. He’s got "The Hunger" and he’s ready to work. >> SoulVillage MySpace

Some of you may know Bryan Cole (on right) from his work with Reb Beach.

For those of you who have not heard him sing, the best way I can describe him is a cross between Steve Perry and Ronnie James Dio. Perry’s tonal quality mixed with Dio’s power. No exaggerations, he’s that good.

National Scouts take heed; If you didn’t sign this guy, you’re losing money. >> Bryan Cole MySpace
