September 18, 1952 – September 30, 2006

After a very fruitful and music-filled life, Big Jake Robinson has passed away. He was a vital part of the Pittsburgh music scene, performing for many years in Allegheny, Beaver and Lawrence Counties, and in the Tri-State area. Jake entertained audiences with his expressive and bluesy voice and acoustic and electric guitar licks. Audiences danced the night away to the music of Big Jake and the Phat Cats. He will be sorely missed.
